ABOUT LINKUP CHINA LTD.

Linkup China Ltd. was founded in 2017 and has offices in the Guangzhou, China and London, United Kingdom. We also frequently work in Manchester, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Chengdu.

Our primary services include introducing UK businesses to the High-Net-Worth Chinese community and supporting them in developing trustworthy relationships, launching luxury bespoke events, press exposure, and celebrity & blogger seeding.

We are committed to offering solutions to UK and Chinese businesses that are aspirational about the UK and Chinese market. We assist them in creating global platforms, and in overcoming obstacles. When counselling businesses on the best course of action to follow in order to succeed in the Chinese market, we draw on our extensive expertise and understanding of it.

THE FOUNDER

Ogilvy & Mather set the course for Yuri O's public relations endeavours. As a university student graduate with a background in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), Yuri was lucky enough to be selected by Ogilvy & Mather to join a general medical group. She began her PR career nine years afterwards. Yuri's English scores have consistently been among the top in the institution, which also provided a strong platform for her subsequent PR work at Ogilvy & Mather and abroad. All seeming luck was attained by numerous unseen efforts. 

After successfully obtaining a master's degree from the University of Leicester in her United Kingdom, Yuri realized that there is a lack of a bridge between the Chinese and British branding markets.  There is no corporation now operating in the UK that can market British brands to China, and there is no "leader" who can present outstanding Chinese local brands to the British media and secure the necessary media coverage. As a result, Yuri established her own marketing and PR consulting firm, Linkup China Ltd., in London in 2017. Linkup China primarily uses public relations to assist Chinese and British firms in finding success in their respective markets. 

MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER

Being an independent, self-assured, and accountable successful entrepreneur myself, I have always passed on my knowledge tomy team members. I've worked in public relations for nine years and have held positions at Bestseller Fashion and Ogilvy PR before launching my own UK-based firm that specialises in the Chinese market. My passion has always been for developing the skills of women. Most of the employees in my organisation are women, including recent graduates, seasoned employees, and housewives; yes, working mothers are very welcome here.

In addition, I am very active bridging the market between UK and China. As the only woman representing China at the 2017 FIPP Global Media Conference in London, I shared the "New Media" trend with the conference's publishers from across the globe. The company's business also primarily targets the female market, so we've hosted a number of free networking events and meetings for women looking to advance their careers.

MILESTONES OF LINKUP CHINA LTD.

The majority of Yuri's clients during the first course of her business's five years have been in the lifestyle sector. Lifestyle covers a wide range of topics, such as real estate, housing, interior and exterior design, jewellery, fashion, and beauty, as well as healthcare items that promote good health.

A high-end Turkish jewellery brand named Bee Goddess was assisted by Yuri and her team in the early years of Linkup China Ltd. to successfully hold a high-end private jewellery appreciation event in London. To assist this high-end jewellery brand in successfully entering the Chinese market, Linkup China Ltd. invited certain jewellery experts and high-end purchasers to the appreciation event and exposed this jewellery brand to wealthy Chinese business partners, select shops, and agents.

BoConcept, a luxury Danish furniture company that is a client of Linkup China Ltd., has a distinctive style that combines technology with simplicity and grace. The largest luxury department store in the UK, Harrods, offers an independent counter for Boconcept. The Linkup China Ltd. team assisted Boconcept in hosting a 200-person event in their London flagship store during the 2017 holiday season. Private real estate investors, individual clients who needed to buy furnishings, and other business partners were among the attendees. For instance, the leader of a well-known Chinese real estate company and a few other attendees who are working on real estate projects in the UK, such as Vanke Wanda, Greenland, accepted Linkup China Ltd.'s request to attend this event with enthusiasm.

Linkup China Ltd. also owns a very vital high-end property client - R&F Properties. China's top 5 property developer. For R&F Properties, Linkup China Ltd. primarily offers two different sorts of services. In terms of events, Yuri assisted R&F Properties in organising two upscale private parties in London and Guangzhou. The 50 VIPs who were invited to the event were all well-to-do businesspeople who had made significant contributions to the London and Guangzhou economies. After the presentation, Linkup China Ltd. worked with R&F Properties to set up one-on-one, in-depth conversations with some of the visitors, giving both parties a more private setting to talk.

For fashion clients at Linkup China Ltd., London Design Week and London Fashion Week are two non-negligible themes. Yuri and her group participate in these two fashion shows in September every year. In order to participate in the annual big shows held by those luxury brands, Linkup China Ltd. invited some of China's mainstream media and well-known bloggers to London. Allowing these media and bloggers to meet these brands up close, gave rise to a favourable interview opportunity for them. Linkup China Ltd. will also craft press releases for brand clients, translating some of the concepts the brand wants to get across into Chinese consumers' terms and sending them to influential bloggers and journalists. As a result, many Chinese consumers will learn about the British brand's history and mission through their own networks.
