This was a time when founding parent company Nokia still dominated the mobile market (with over 50% global share) and VERTU was conceived of as a bold new proposition, providing an unparalleled combination of technology and luxury. The smartphone market may have changed beyond recognition in the years since, but VERTU has gone on to pursue this mission in ever more innovative ways.

With the launch of the VERTU Signature in 2002, the brand proved it could take the timeless signifiers of luxury and translate them into the mobile phone market. VERTU went on to create numerous industry firsts: sapphire screens, titanium frames, gemstone buttons, ceramic earpieces, leather casings, concierge services and much more. Partnerships with the likes of Ferrari, Aston Martin and Bentley have demonstrated a natural synergy with luxury incumbents.

October 24th sees the dawn of a new era for VERTU, with the launch of the METAVERTU in London – the world’s first Web3.0 enabled smartphone. Having built a reputation for investing in innovative design, luxurious materials, VIP services and network security, VERTU is now breaking new ground when it comes to next generation of hardware and software. The theme of this campaign is ‘connecting people’, showing respect to NOKIA.

We have also partnered with London’s best PR agency - Purple PR for inviting top tier press and KOL to attend the press conference.

Celebrity host Leanne Elliott Young had an amazing conversation with Vertu CEO Gary Chan on the stage.

RESULTS:

The press conference was successfully launched in the Londoner Hotel, with eye-catching new phones displaying, mind-blowing videos and presentations, a beautiful flower wall and iconic repeat logo wall, thoughtful catering and goody bags.
